The Bible

At Calvary Chapel we believe strongly that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. This does not mean we believe in perfect translators, or perfect modern translations, but rather that the words of the Bible are perfect and without error in their original language and meaning. For more info on how the Bible came to be, please click the link here: https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/canon.cfm

The trustworthiness of the Bible rests on the true accounts contained within in its pages, accounts which even extra biblical historical writings support. The fulfillment of hundreds of specific prophecies, including those pertaining to the Son of God, His first coming, His life, His horrific death, and glorious resurrection, all point to an all-knowing, omnipotent, Author. Though the entirety of the Bible was written over thousands of years, by many penman, living in different countries, we find that the 66 books of the Bible meld beautifully as one.

Study The Word

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

At Calvary Crossville, the primary focus of our meetings are the study of God's Word. The Bible tells us as leaders to "equip the saints" for the work of the ministry. This is done by not only hearing, but applying and doing what the Bible says.

We want to make the teaching and study of God's word as available as possible, and in as many formats as possible to our fellowship of believers.
